Sarah is a professionally qualified Quantity Surveyor with over 30 years' experience across building, civil engineering and infrastructure. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for delivering robust commercial and contractual solutions, leading integrated project teams, and bringing clarity and confidence to some of the most complex challenges in the built environment. A natural communicator and collaborator, she is equally comfortable working across disciplines as she is within the commercial arena.

Over the past two years, Sarah has played a pivotal role in the growth and evolution of the Building Safety Act Consulting team. Working at the director level, she has helped redefine the practice's business processes, strengthen operational delivery, and reshape its financial model to support sustainable growth and long-term client value. Her leadership has been instrumental in establishing the structures, governance and commercial foundations needed to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

Today, Sarah provides operational leadership across the business, ensuring that teams, processes and commercial strategy are aligned to deliver consistently high standards for clients. Drawing on her extensive commercial expertise and practical industry knowledge, she focuses on creating efficient, scalable and collaborative ways of working that enable the business to respond effectively to both Client needs and industry change.

Kellie brings a unique combination of construction project controls, commercial leadership and operational management, developed through a career spanning both contractor-side and client-side roles on some of the UK's most complex developments. She spent seven years at Battersea Power Station, where she was responsible for managing major construction packages valued at up to £2 billion across the board, gaining extensive experience in programme delivery, stakeholder management and commercial oversight within a highly demanding environment.

Throughout her career, Kellie has built a reputation for bringing structure, clarity and strategic focus to complex projects and organisations. Her ability to bridge operational delivery, commercial performance and business leadership has enabled teams to navigate change confidently while maintaining strong outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

Over the past two years, Kellie has played a central role in the development and growth of Building Safety Act Consult, acting as the de facto Deputy Managing Director. During this period, she has supported the business's bid strategy and commercial operations, helping to secure new opportunities, strengthen client relationships and shape the commercial foundations required to support sustainable growth. Her leadership has been instrumental in establishing the operational discipline and business processes needed to scale the practice while maintaining quality and consistency.

Kellie now provides operational leadership across the business, overseeing day-to-day delivery, business performance and client experience. Working closely with the senior leadership team, she is focused on ensuring the practice remains agile, commercially robust and well-positioned to support clients through an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Kellie is passionate about helping clients navigate this transformation, combining practical delivery experience, commercial insight and strong operational leadership to support safer buildings and better outcomes across the industry.

With 38 years of experience, Chris has worked within a small highly specialised inspection team at Wandsworth Borough Technical Services Department for the last 10 years inspecting high risk mutli-occupancy buildings located in Nine Elms Lane district. Projects include inspecting and assisting with technical reviews of construction detailing for the Battersea Power Station phased works on the 15 acres site, with a construction budget of £9.4billion.

Other projects include the Ballymore Embassy Gardens site, which includes for the first domestic acrylic swimming pool, suspended between 2 high rise domestic blocks at level 10, spanning 25m between the buildings. Throughout Chris’s career, Building Safety has been at the centre of the various roles and projects he has worked on.

James is a Building Control Officer with 30 plus years of experience. He trained as a structural engineer before joining London District Surveyors Service and then Wandsworth Building Control.

He progressed from a patch surveyor to heading up a section handling the checking of plans deposited for Building Regulation compliance.

James ultimately managed the Local authority Building Control Service for an area that includes Battersea Power Station, New American Embassy, Embassy Gardens, Project One, and the Riverlight and Prince of Wales Drive.

He is passionate about the practical implementation of the fundamentals of Life Safety in buildings focusing on Fire safety, structure and building services.
